Because you are so fabulous... a giveaway!

Friends, thank you so very much for all of your kind comments on my Michigan Avenue Ensemble!  It was so fantastic to come back from my college reunion and find all of your responses!  I may have gotten a little teary, I cannot lie.  I also did a happy dance.  You are all too kind and I'll be responding to those comments today :)

In the meantime, though, how about a giveaway?

I'm giving away the Michigan Avenue Ensemble patterns (Vogue 5542 and Advance 8781), 3+ yards of fantastic pink and white cotton, and 4+ yards of pink and white scallop eyelet trim (two pieces, one is 3+ yards). This is a giveaway for all of you, my amazing blog followers, wherever you may be.  I'm shipping anywhere in the world, and even universally, if you have a postal system out there.

The deal: you must tell me your favorite pattern (at this moment) in the comments.  I, for one, just made my first Renfrew and it blew my mind.  I'm completely in love with it and have been wearing it almost every day. What pattern did you recently make that you fell in love with?

Giveaway is open until Wednesday, April 25 at 11:59PM CDT.

Good luck and thank you again, my darling friends :)

  2. I would love to be in with a chance to win this crazily generous giveaway...what wonderful patterns (my size!) and fabric! At the moment, my favourite pattern is the Renfrew too - I spent a week wearing Renfrews for Tilly's OWOP and I had so much fun with them (http://asewingodyssey.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/one-week-one-pattern-renfrew.html)!

  3. Wow, what a great giveaway! The pattern I'm most in love with isn't really a pattern at all - it's the tutorial from Ooobop that I used to make my tulip skirt! I just used it to make a skirt for one of my friends for her 21st, and I love it a lot - so simple, but looks amazing.

  4. ooh favorite pattern. That's a hard one. I would have to say Colette's Macaroon. I think it could fill my closet of cute things to wear.

  6. Simplicity 4070 is divine! So versatile, flattering, and classic. I made it in corduroy and will be making it again for summer. (Example here: http://pinterest.com/pin/87960998941879337/)

  7. This is fantastic. I have two favorite current patterns, one in retrospect and one in anticipation. I just finished a sleeveless sundress from Simplicity 8809 (copyright 1970) that was a lot of fun to make and I'm loving the results of; I picked up a DKNY Vogue pattern (V1287) to make a work dress for when I start my new job(!) in a couple weeks, and I'm looking forward to it like crazy.

  9. Right now I am loving Mccalls 6349! It's is really flattering and even though the bodice is underlined AND lined and the skirt is lined...it is an easy make (a little time consuming).

  10. My favourite is the Crescent Skirt from Sewaholic. I also have the Renfrew but haven't made it up yet. I would live this giveaway and am grateful you will ship it overseas (if I am lucky enough to get it!)

  13. Oh what a wonderful giveaway Meg! My favorite pattern of the moment is Megan Nielsen's Banksia top. I made my first one this weekend and promptly started on my second. I just need to find some time to take pics in them for it to show up on the blog.

  16. I really love 1803. I haven't finished the dress yet, but it's turning out FABULOUS. And the multiple bodice choices means more than one dress in my closet! And PRINCESS SEAMS!

  17. I'm in total lust with Advance 8574. I'm making two more (which is a first for me to duplicate a pattern). I realized I kept wearing the one dress over and over and over. The fit is great, it's comfortable, cute and vintage enough for everyday while not too vintage that people think I'm a freak (like all my other little vintage repro beauties). I loved that outfit you made, the petticoat was awesome too, nothing beats a fluffy skirt!

  24. I've just finished the skirt of Vogue 1247. It's so simple but makes a super cute denim skirt! Like a tardis - you can't see 'em but it was deep pockets tucked into the yoke front. Which are even better when you line them with polka dot fabric and use hot pink bias binding for the Hong Kong finishes. I could almost wear it inside out... maybe just at home...

  25. My new favorite is the Colette Hazel. I love the striped version and the silhouette is so flattering.
